SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Fitnat joined as Company Solicitor in May 2005. Prior to this she was a Principal Counsel with the Volta River Authority (VRA) where she worked for 6 years mostly on legal aspects of financing energy projects including Ghana’s equity participation in the West African Gas Pipeline Project. While with VRA she also served as Company Secretary to Takoradi Power Company, a Cayman Islands subsidiary of VRA and CMS Energy of Michigan, U.S.A among other things. Before this assignment, she worked with the Civil Division of the Ministry of Justice as a State Attorney between 1989 and 1999.
Fitnat Adjetey had her B.A (Hons) degree in Law and Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon, in 1984, a B.L. from the Ghana School of Law in 1986 and in 1994 an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C., U.S.A. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
